1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and FakeGPT ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of our website and tools, including the image detector, text analyzer and any other feature we offer (together, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, or by ticking the consent box before an analysis, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.

2. The service

FakeGPT helps you estimate whether an image or a piece of text may have been created or altered by artificial intelligence. Results are delivered as scores, verdicts, heatmaps and reports. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and some features may be limited to signed-in users.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend it for maintenance or security reasons.

3. Accounts

You can use some tools without an account. Saving reports, using the dashboard and similar features require one. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Google, you also agree to that provider's terms.

4. Your content

"Your content" means the images and text you submit and the reports saved to your account. You keep ownership of it. To run the Service, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and analyze your content and to generate results from it.

You confirm that you have the right to submit your content and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. Please do not upload images that show another person in a private or intimate context without their consent.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors, or that incites violence or hatred.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, stalk or target an individual, or to violate someone's privacy.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use automated tools to access it, without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer our models, or use results to build a competing detection product.
• Alter, forge or misrepresent a report or certificate, or present it as something it is not.

We may remove content or restrict access if we believe these rules have been broken.

6. Accuracy of results

AI detection is probabilistic. Our scores and verdicts are estimates based on patterns in the content you submit, and they can be wrong. A result may label genuine content as AI-generated (a false positive) or miss content that was generated or edited (a false negative). Results can also change as our models improve.

7. Reports & certificates

Reports and certificates show the result of an analysis at the time it was run, for the specific content submitted. They do not certify who created the content, that it is original, or that it is free of AI involvement beyond what the analysis detected. You may share them, but you must not describe them as more than they are or imply that FakeGPT endorses a person, product or claim.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, design, logos, text and graphics, belongs to FakeGPT or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the Service, and nothing more. You may not use our name or logo without written permission.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, such as hosting, analytics and sign-in providers. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete or reliable, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FakeGPT and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, reputation or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or from reliance on its results.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and can ask us to close your account using the details below. We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you break these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law, will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of [Your jurisdiction], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

14. Changes to these terms
